Bob (Albert Čuba), a lonely scientist, is on the run from a gang behind development of an app capable of controlling the human mind. When he runs into taxi driver Sára (Andrea Mohylová) during his escape, he unexpectedly finds an ally in her.

 

The short film Stav Odpojen is a low-budget punk tribute to the B-movies of the ’80s and ’90s, shot in Olomouc,Czech Republic where it’s all about one thing—survival.

 

This film came to life on the initiative of our Olomouc-based stunt team, Czech Action Crew, led by action director Daniel Bodlák. Alongside our work on international productions, we decided it was time to create something of our own. We brought together a passion-driven crew of local talent from both theater and film, with Vít Hradil stepping into the director's chair.

 

 

Filming took place in Olomouc and at Bělecký mlýn, supported by Krátký film Praha and in collaboration with Ostrava’s Divadlo Mír.
